Biography
 of 
 Rev. Charles R. Ramsey, Jr.
 

Rev. Ramsey's commitment to Christ stems from childhood
activities at Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church in Trenton, New Jersey,
where at the age of 12, he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal
savior
. In college, Ramsey accepted his calling to preach and was
ordained an Itinerant Deacon. 
In 1999, Reverend Ramsey received a
Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology
from Morris
Brown College in Atlanta,
Georgia, where he served as Assistant
to the
College Chaplain
. He
was ordained an Itinerant Elder, per
the Discipline of the African Methodist Episcopal Church
with the completion of his matriculation on at Turner Seminary.
He is a 2008 honors graduate of Turner Theological Seminary at
The Interdenominational Theological Center in Atlanta, where
he received a Master of Divinity with a focus in Homiletics and
Worship.
Because of his pastoral and administrative excellence,
Ramsey has become one of the noticed ministers on the rise
in theAfrican Methodist Episcopal Church.

His love of singing both traditional and contemporary church
music, preaching to challenge and change lives; along with his
genuine friendliness and care for others has been demonstration
of his giftedness. It has also availed opportunities to him. He has
served as the Christian Education Director for the Athens
Conference and doors has opened for him to preach and lead
workshops within the Sixth Episcopal District of the A.M.E.
Church (Georgia) and beyond.
 

Rev. Charles Robert Ramsey, Jr. attended public and private
schools under the watchful care of his parents, Mr. Charles
Ramsey, Sr. and the late Mrs. Winifred Ramsey, of Trenton, New
Jersey. His younger sister,
Denise resides in Morrisville,
Pennsylvaniania.
In May of 2009, Ms.
Robbie Allison Colson of
Macon, Georgia, became his wife and lifetime partner in ministry.
They currently reside in Douglasville, Georgia.
